SMA First Infant Milk

Breast milk substitute, from birth.
When baby is not breastfed or to combination feed with breast milk. Breastfeeding provides the best start for your baby but if you decide not to, or to combination feed, choose SMA First Infant Milk, nutritionally complete with Omega 3 & 6 LCPs.

SMA Follow-on Milk

To complement the weaning diet, from 6 months+.
A follow-on milk providing the important nutrients your growing baby needs, Omega 3 & 6, iron and vitamin D. Iron helps brain development and vitamin D supports growth of bones and teeth. Nutrients are delivered in a smaller volume than infant formula so your baby still has an appetite for food. Use as part of a mixed weaning diet.

SMA Gold Prem 1

For preterm and low birthweight infants.
Specially designed for the particular nutritional requirements of preterm and low birthweight infants not solely fed breast milk.

This product should be used under medical supervision.

SMA Gold Prem 2

Catch-up formula, for low birthweight and preterm babies up to 6 months.
For use on discharge from hospital or when a low birthweight formula is no longer appropriate. A nutritionally complete formula with Omega 3 & 6 LCPs, which provides higher levels of energy, protein, vitamins and minerals compared to typical infant milks. It is specially balanced for baby's needs if they have been born low birthweight or preterm.

SMA High Energy

Food for special medical purposes, from birth to 18 months.
For infants and young children with medically identified high energy needs.
A nutritionally complete ready made formula. It is designed for infants and young children who have increased requirements of energy and other nutrients, and who may be on restricted fluids.

SMA Staydown Infant Milk

For babies with significant reflux, for babies who bring back their feeds, from birth onwards.
A nutritionally complete infant milk for babies with significant reflux (regurgitation) who are not being breastfed. It can be used as the sole source of nutrition from birth in place of your usual formula feed, and can be mixed with foods once weaning have begun. Reflux often occurs because a baby's digestive system is immature.
